Personally, I am not a fan of treeless but do acknowledge that under certain circumstances with certain riders a treeless saddle can be used to the benefit of the horse. For those of you, this is a quality treeless pad on par with some much higher priced pads that bear well known trade and/or riders' names. The seat can be measured at 17.5" but, since it has no hard structure, it can feel larger. Good quality stirrup bars and girthing . Generous gullet to keep weight and pressure off the spine.
